Lilia has 35+ years of experience in financial services in North America, specialized in M&A in P&C and life insurance. Before her retirement, she was Executive Vice President at iA Financial in charge of strategy and corporate development. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Intact Financial Corporation, a leading P&C insurance company in Canada, overseeing all M&A activities including international expansion and an IPO. Earlier in her career, she worked in the US for ING Group in the Americas, where she gained experience in doing transactions in Asia and Latin America. In addition to insurance, Lilia’s areas of expertise include auto warranty, group benefits, asset management and wealth management.
Lilia is currently on the board of Trisura Group Limited, serving on both the audit and risk committees.
Lilia has an M.Sc. degree from Rutgers University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
