Jay Wright is a Canadian board director, strategic advisor, and former Fortune 1000 C-suite executive who spent three decades building consumer businesses at scale and is now applying that experience to create lasting value for great companies while giving back. Jay takes complex situations, builds the right team, and delivers profitable growth. Over a career spanning CPG, wine and spirits, forest products, AgTech, and nonprofit leadership, he has owned P&Ls exceeding $3B, closed more than 50 M&A transactions, and led more than 6,000 employees globally.

Jay held executive roles at Constellation Brands, and served as President and CEO of Arterra Wines Canada. Since stepping out of the CEO role in 2022, Jay co-founded the Centre for Indigenous Corporate Partnership (CICP) – Canada’s only nonprofit dedicated to accelerating Indigenous prosperity through reciprocal corporate allyship.

Jay currently chairs the Smith School of Business Advisory Board at Queen’s University where he established the Wright Family Award – a renewable four-year scholarship for Indigenous and racialized BCom students. Jay also serves as Independent Board Director at Kruger Products, Winebow Group, the McMichael Canadian Art Foundation, and holds an executive committee seat at Spitz Group, and is the CEO Advisor and Board Observer at Lumo.
