Marshall advises consumer companies on mergers, acquisitions, and financings. Over his career, he has advised on over 80 transactions totaling over $7 billion in completed M&A and over $25 billion of financings. He has led sell-side transactions including the sales of Annie Selke to RugsUSA, StoreBound to Groupe SEB, Summer Infant to Kids2, Brand House Collective to Bed Bath & Beyond, and Lenox Corporation to Centre Lane Partners, and has arranged acquisition financings including Round 2’s acquisition of Lionel.
Marshall joined Origin in 2026 through the firm’s acquisition of Consensus, where he had worked since January 2015. Prior to Consensus, Marshall was Vice President, Finance at Hudson’s Bay Company (2012–2015). Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Bain & Company and held roles at full-service and boutique investment banks focused on the consumer industry, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Financo, and Citigroup. Marshall holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, is a FINRA Series 79 registered representative, and is based in New York City.
